General Maintenance Associate

The ideal candidate will work easily in a fast-paced environment ensuring that all maintenance functions, including preventative maintenance, are completed in a timely manner and are safety compliant while maintaining an optimistic, compassionate attitude to be the best part of each guest's day.
Hotel Maintenance:
Perform repairs and maintenance on all hotel equipment and assets as scheduled or requested by Guests, Housekeeping, and management.
Such duties could consist of HVAC, plumbing and electrical repairs, furniture repair/replacement, etc.
Maintain hotel grounds, building exterior, and parking lot.
Perform preventative maintenance on hotel Guest rooms per schedule.
Check pool/spa chemical balance and filters.
Clean pool/spa deck.
Perform daily walk-through, and record all meter readings and boiler temperature.
Communication:
Provide written detail of work performed on work order forms and other documents.
Record all maintenance request work performed.
Inform Front Desk and Housekeeping of rooms where work is being performed so they can be put out of order as needed.
Notify Front Desk and Housekeeping when work is complete.
Miscellaneous:
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with Guests, clients, co-workers, and management.
Know hotel emergency procedures and where all emergency shut-offs are located.
Assist hotel Guests when necessary in case of an emergency.
Perform special projects assigned in the allotted time set for each project.
Perform all other duties as directed, developed, or assigned.
