Job Description:
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Inspects filters coming out of carousel machine and inserts with paper that show company name, size, UPCs, style, etc.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Inspects filters coming out of carousel machine.
Puts inserts on filters that meet quality standards. Paper inserts will clearly show company name, size, style, UPC, etc.
Rejects filters that do not meet specifications.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Must be able to read and understand instructions.
Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
DECISIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must report to line leader or quality control when line is producing too much scrap.
Make sure correct insert is placed on correct filter.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to stand at work station for extended periods of time.
Must be able to sustain repetitive motions which would include light bending, twisting and squatting.
Must be able to use both hands when reaching for items to produce product.
Must have the ability to visually detect defects in filters and/or inserts.
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.
Must be able to withstand both hot and cold atmosphere depending on weather conditions.
Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions.
