The registered nurse (RN) is provides direct patient care under the direction of Clinical Manager or Supervisor. Working autonomously, the RN accepts responsibility and accountability for the assigned case load. The Registered nurse will plan,implement, and evaluate the care for wound care clients according to age-specific criteria. The RN will work within the State Practice Act and follow all of the host facility''s policies and procedures. The RN will actively participate in quality management activities and will assist the clinical manager, Supervisor and program director as requested. He/she will perform all duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Mercy Memorial Health Center.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Experience: Minimum of three years experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting.
Licensure: Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Oklahoma.
Certifications: BLS certification required.Training from a UHMS approved hyperbaric program.
Other: Ability to complete a two-person lift from wheelchair to exam table.
