First Bank & Trust Co is seeking a temporary Facilities Maintenance Worker.
JOB
Summary: Under the general direction of the Network/Security Manager, maintains Ardmore and Healdton facilities by ensuring building, electrical, plumbing, grounds and equipment are in good repair, clean, safe, orderly and compliant with applicable federal, state, local and FBTC regulations. Also responds to day-to-day operations, maintenance and repair as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide superior customer service to building tenants
Perform and ensure that all assigned maintenance requests are handled within designated time frame
Assist in the repair and maintaining of the HVAC equipment, roofs, lighting, plumbing, boilers, heaters and electrical devices.
Preparing vacant offices for occupancy, fix door locks, drywall, painting, some carpentry
Assist with the grounds, including; trash pick-up, cleaning furniture, painting curbs and lighting
ADDITIONAL
Responsibilities:
Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
High school degree is required;
Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record;
Experience with repairs of drywall, electrical, plumbing, painting and lighting;
Prior experience in office complex a plus;
The qualified candidate must have knowledge of OSHA/NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Building codes, basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems;
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to perform basic arithmetic, and read and write.
Ability to perform basic manual labor.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally with co-workers.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrate dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.
Good follow through on projects and deliverables.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Using hand and power tools
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This work requires the following physical activities:
Standing for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity, driving.
Frequent lifting (up to 100 pounds).
Climb ladders
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal Office environment
Work outside in all weather conditions
